Weighs 0.7 oz, With a 1-1/2″ long blade, it’s big enough to get the job done and its unique handle allows you to really put your weight into its point or edge. A serrated edge for tasks/sawing and a sharp utility razor edge for cutting. Japanese Aus 8A Stainless Steel and Kraton grip.

2. Adjustable Knot System: This lanyard can be adjust to fit all sizes. Grab the area by the tied knots and slide back and forth to increase/decrease size. A great amount of force will cause the ties to unravel, (this helps prevent strangulation hazards).

LANYARD CORDAGE OPTIONS/UPGRADES (select one)

5-10′ Paracord (multiple colors): Type III, 550lb, 7 inner nylon strands each w/ 2 braided strings. Replace shoestrings, make a bow saw, lash together logs to create a raft, make a bear bag, use as fishing line, tie down gear, create snare traps, fashion a clothesline or tent frame, etc. 35lb rating per strand. Utilize the inner strands of paracord sheath as fishing line, sutures, sheltering lashes, strapping, etc.

5-10′ Fire Cord (black): 550lb 7 nylon strand paracord containing an inner combustible wick that easily ignites with a strong flame, long burn time, and is waterproof. Great for starting fires in wet conditions or when tinder isn’t accessible. Oil based tinder. Fray the red wick to create more surface area and light with a spark.

5-10′ Titan Survival Cord (black):  contains useful inner strands of 25 lb. test mono-filament fishing line, waterproof/waxed twisted jute fiber strand, and 30 AWG metallic alloy conductive/non-magnetic snare wire, (and of course 7 nylon strands, 550lb+ strength)

SERE MODEL- Escape and Evasion Kit with basic survival supplies.

4- *Advanced Kevlar Lanyard: Black Kevlar Utility Cord (K.U.C.): 600TEX rating for use as Sawing Cord and Snare Wire (200lb tested – Improved Coating for UV/Friction Resistant). Saw branches/zipties/ropes, fashion a bow saw, catch wild game using as a snare wire, make a trip line, use as garrote weapon. Adopted by US Army SERE specialists and NAVY Seals. TIPS: To Saw, A. Use long back & forth sawing motions to reduce friction/damage to K.U.T. Concentrate sawing on a single point of item being cut. B. Wear gloves to protect your hand or create handles from a pen/stick. (half of K.U.T. is secured under ranger band on strap for easy access, half is stashed away in core for later use)

5- *4 Ranger Bands: Secure gear, silence rucksack clips, add grip to pistol handle, burn as tinder(30 second strong flame per band).

6- *Fire Steel Ferrocerium Toggle Peg: Start a fire. Scrape slowly to shave off black covering before use. Strike quickly to ignite tinder. Reflect on sparks into nest of fine tinder, provide oxygen flow by blowing into the base of flame.

7- Tinder Tape Strap: Heavy duty adhesive Duct Tape with added flammable strands allowing a slow tar like burn. Stick to your kindling and ignite or wrap around a limb to use as a torch.

8- Jute String/Tinder: 1 foot of 3 ply small rope, use as wound dressing for absorbent properties, tie down, fire tinder.

TIPS: Fray jute wick with knife into multiple strands and puff up, ignite.

9- All Purpose Small Fishing Hook: Bronze

10- MSR Aquatab Water Purification Tablet(2liter treatment): Add 1 tab to 2l clear water, mix 10 minutes, let stand for 30 min, hydrate.

11- *Saw Shim Tool: Superesse designed, surgical flex steel. Single side serrated saw edge. Slim build allows for shimming restaints. Outfitted with two punched lanyard holes. Create finger loops with cordage and run thru lanyard holes to create grips for utilizing as a saw.
