► RMP Backer Plates™ ✚

Easily customize your RMP™ to accept hard mounted gear by following the steps below.

 

To attach Holsters with Quick Detach Platforms:

► Purchase our RMP Backer Plates™.

► Place Backer Plates in desired location behind RMP™.

► Pass screws through Female Receiver Plate and into tapped hole of Backer Plate from the front side of the RMP™, screw in to secure.

► Screw the Male Plate onto the Holster.

PRO TIP: Mount additional Female Receiver Plates onto a secondary Vehicle RMP™ or Case RMP™ for mount your gear to a secure location.

 

 

 
 

 

► Paracord ✚

Use paracord or shockcord passed through the 0.25” holes around the outside edge of RMP™ to secure gear in place.

 

► Hook/Loop ✚

Easily customize any RMP™ to accept Hook/Loop backed pouches, morale patches, or accessories by following the steps below.

 

To adhere Adhesive Backed Velcro Hook Tape to your RMP™:

► Purchase our Low Profile Hook – Adhesive Backed – 3/4” Width.

► Clean RMP™ surface with an alcohol wipe and let completely dry.

► Remove backing from Adhesive Backed Velcro Hook Tape and press firmly into place on RMP™.

► Press further with a rolling pin or place heavy weight onto RMP™ to compress and ensure full contact.

► Apply heat from a hair dryer to warm up the RMP™ and the velcro, enabling the adhesive to liquefy enough to seep into the RMP™ for a better bond.

RMP™ FASTENING OPTIONS

► Backpacks with internal MOLLE webbing ✚

Some backpacks have integral MOLLE webbing sewn inside. You can loop a Velcro One-Wrap, Velcro Cinch Strap, Web Dominator, or Grimloc through the internal MOLLE webbing of the backpack to secure the RMP.

► Backpacks without internal MOLLE webbing ✚

HYDRATION BLADDER LOOP

► Use a Velcro One-Wrap or Grimloc to secure your RMP™ to the hydration bladder loop.

GROMMET + CHICAGO BOLT

► Purchase our Chicago Bolts.

► Punch a hole in backpack fabric and secure a grommet to prevent ripping.

► Use a Chicago Bolt to secure the RMP™ to the grommet.

VELCRO

Easily customize your RMP™ and Backpack to with Velcro by following the steps below.

 

To adhere Adhesive Backed Velcro Hook Tape to your RMP™:

► Purchase our Low Profile Hook – Adhesive Backed – 3/4” Width.

► Clean RMP™ surface with an alcohol wipe and let completely dry.

► Remove backing from Adhesive Backed Velcro Hook Tape and press firmly into place on RMP™.

► Press further with a rolling pin or place heavy weight onto RMP™ to compress and ensure full contact.

► Apply heat from a hair dryer to warm up the RMP™ and the velcro, enabling the adhesive to liquefy enough to seep into the RMP™ for a better bond.

 

PRO TIP: For stronger adhesion, apply 3M Primer 94 to RMP™ surface before sticking the Adhesive Backed Velcro Loop Tape into place.

 

To adhere the Loop side adhesive backed velcro to the backpack:

► After adhering the Adhesive Backed Velcro Hook Tape to your RMP™, line up the corresponding Adhesive Backed Velcro Loop Tape strip and secure in place.

► Flip your backpack inside out to get a clear view of the interior area that your RMP™ will be attached.

► Peel plastic from Adhesive Backed Velcro Loop Tape while still secured to RMP™.

► Line up your RMP™ on the entire area you desire to attach to your backpack and press firmly in place.

► Peel your RMP™ with Velcro Hook Tape away from your backpack with Velcro Loop Tape, being careful to not lift newly placed Loop Tape from backpack.

► Press further with a rolling pin or place heavy weight onto RMP™ to compress and ensure full contact.

 

► Backpacks with Internal Velcro Loop ✚

Easily customize your RMP™ to fasten to your Velcro lined backpack by following the steps below.

 

To adhere Adhesive Backed Velcro Loop Tape to your RMP™:

► Purchase our Low Profile Hook – Adhesive Backed – 3/4” Width.

► Clean RMP™ surface with an alcohol wipe and let completely dry.

► Remove backing from Adhesive Backed Velcro Hook Tape and press firmly into place on RMP™.

► Press further with a rolling pin or place heavy weight onto RMP™ to compress and ensure full contact.

► Apply heat from a hair dryer to warm up the RMP™ and the velcro, enabling the adhesive to liquefy enough to seep into the RMP™ for a better bond.
